Leaving from the port, we are cruising east towards Dokos island. On our way, it is worth having a stop at the tiny, un-inhabitant Kounoupi island. Here is the perfect place to enjoy a serene, refreshing morning swim, along with seagulls flying around.
Dokos, our next destination, is a large rocky and barren island, that is situated opposite Ermioni aprx 5 miles away. The large Skindos bay provides excellent shelter at north – eastern side, which is certainly a safe anchorage spot.
Inside the bay, there is a famous shipwreck, which was discovered at 1975 near to the byzantine castle, at a depth of 20 meters. Try also snorkelling along the rocky coastline, in the crystal-clear water, admiring the white seabed with the vivid sea life.
Having enjoyed the natural, simple beauty of this remote island, we cruise towards Ermioni a small fishing village by the seaside, with an authentic old harbour. The village still manages its unspoiled charm, relatively untouched by cosmopolitan tourism. Enjoy also a refreshing long walk to the Bisti pine wood of the cape having a panoramic view of the village.
Having appreciated the charming beauty of Ermioni, we continue cruising along the sea line to reach Agios Emilianos cape, around which there are green, dreamy bays accessible only by boat.
Our last but definitely rewarding stop, is at the famous Hinitsa bay, where the blue and the green dominates the natural setting, creating the ideal setting for a magical sunset and a late afternoon swim on the way back.
